Water loss to home in Indianapolis, IN

This Indianapolis homeowner was very happy with SERVPRO of Hendricks County and their recent mitigation services.  The initial cause of loss was called in as a toilet float stuck which led to a loss to two bathrooms, hallway, laundry room, office, and crawlspace.  SERVPRO technicians removed affected flooring, baseboards, and drywall. The bathroom vanity toe kick was removed to inspect for water damage. Both bathroom vanities were deemed a loss and disposed of along with drywall and flooring.  Upon further investigating a clogged drain line was found to be the cause of damage.  The water loss was considered a Catagory 3 loss due to the water possibly containing chemicals and microbes.  Technicians sprayed Sporicidin due to microbial growth on damaged drywall.  Containment was set up between the laundry room and kitchen due to the removal of drywall in affected areas. Our technicians did a great job of keeping the homeowner informed daily of the progress.
