Fire damages property in Greene County, IN

Not only did this homeowner suffer fire damage, but SERVPRO of Hendricks County also will be mitigating smoke damage and the water damage from putting the fire out.  Once our IICRC SERVPRO technicians arrived at the property, they quickly started their pack out procedures and boxed up items to protect from any further damage.  Textile goods were boxed and prepared for laundry or dry cleaning.

This home had log cabin style walls and special containment had to be constructed in order to start drying procedures.  Equipment was set in place to extract the wet blown in insulation from the attic.  Water damaged the hardwood floors throughout the home and the mat system was set up for drying these floors. Two dumpsters were ordered to dispose of the insulation and drop ceiling tiles.  In no time, we will have this homeowner back to “Like it never even happened."
